SUMMARY:Orientation 03/02/2024
DESCRIPTION:All new members are required to attend orientation before they can use the range. This meeting is held once a month for approximately 90 minutes. Orientation consists of us going over the range rules and policies\, as well as getting a tour of the range and it’s amenities. Also at the orientation you will receive your ID Badge and gate code for the range. \nPlease call the range (303/769-4377) to reserve a spot at orientation.

SUMMARY:Poker Shoot 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Poker Shoot will be fired with a rifle in the benchrest position. Only the contestant’s body is allowed to touch the bench. No part of the rifle or any accessories of the rifle can touch the bench. \nEach contestant will be allowed five (5) shots at their target which will have 52 playing cards + joker on it. \nThe event will be based on the scoring of 5-card stud poker. The poker hand will be determined by the official poker rules according to Hoyle. Best hand wins. \nThe distance from the firing line to the target is 50 yards. \nOnly rifles with a caliber smaller than .50cal will be allowed. \nIf the bullet hole breaks the card line it will count for that card. \nAll contestants must wear ear and eye protection for the event. \nAfter the contestant fires all five shots\, the judge will inspect the target to determine the poker hand. The results of the poker hand will be recorded and the winning hand will be announced. The judges decision is final. \nEach contestant must check in at the registration table on the day of the event ( March 17\, 2024). SUMMARY:Introduction to Clay Shooting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This event is to introduce you to the Clay Shooting games which there are five different games. We will start with the history of Clay shooting all the way to current. We will also explain how all five games work and the etiquette and safety rules for playing them. All types of shotguns and actions will be discussed and why you would need them. \nAfter the classroom part is done we will move to the Trap range for the shooting part of the class. This will be about 25 to 40 shells as needed per shooter. Our goal is to have each shooter brake 25% to 50% or an increase of 10%. \nCost of the Work Shop is $85.00
