DESCRIPTION:All new members are required to attend orientation before they can use the range. This meeting is held once a month for approximately 90 minutes. Orientation consists of us going over the range rules and policies\, as well as getting a tour of the range and it’s amenities. Also at the orientation you will receive your ID Badge and gate code for the range. \nPlease call the range (303/769-4377) to reserve a spot at orientation.

SUMMARY:Pumpkin Shoot 2024
DESCRIPTION:Post Halloween Pumpkin Shoot\nHow do you carve a pumpkin? Join us for a fun event with pumpkins and “carve” your pumpkin’s face but in a two-person team using pistols. The competition is not only fun but there are even trophies for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place for the best pumpkin faces. Refreshments and other fun activities will also be available. \nCost:\nNon-Members price $17.00 \nRange Members price $15.00 \nPre-Registration price $13.00 \n(Pre-Registration ends on 10/31/24 at 9:00 PM) \nRules\nTeams should pre-register before the 31st of October by using the registration form\, email or by calling the range. Teams must check in at the registration table on the day of the event. Check-in starts at 10:00am and shooting starts at 11:00am. \nTeams consists of two people; both do not have to be members for the member pricing. \nThe event is fired with pistols in the standing position and using any caliber 9mm or larger. Team members are to fire at least 6 shots but no more than 10 shots. Shots are to be fired by having the each team member fire one shot and then have the other member shoot once until all shots have been fired. \nThe distance from the firing line to the pumpkin is a mere 20-30 feet. \nOnly pistols with iron sights will be allowed; but no scopes or electronic sights. \nTeam members must wear ear and eye protection for the event. \nAnyone who wants to compete but does not have a second person to make up a team is welcome. We will try to match them up with other singles on the day of the event. \nTo win the event\, a team will be judged to have made the best face in their pumpkin. This will be decided by an independent panel of judges who will set their own criteria for best face with 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
